NCOA's report, Community Solutions: Lessons Learned from the My Medicare Matters Low-Income Subsidy Demonstration Program, describes results of a national demonstration program conducted in 2007 and 2008 where local/state organizations reached out to Medicare beneficiaries with limited income and resources and assisted them with applying for the Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) and other related benefits.
